Memorial Pairs event for the late Mr K.T. Yang (Philippines) will be held online at BBO on Monday 29 March 2021 from 2pm-6.30pm. Cost USD1.50 per person. KT, as he was popularly known, was very active in the Asia Pacific and South East Asia bridge community, and took part in the 2018 Asian Games where he was the oldest participant. The 2021 Asia Pacific Bridge Federation Championships (selection trials for 2021 Bermuda Bowl/Venice Cup) originally scheduled to be held in Hongkong, are cancelled due to the Covid 19 pandemic. Instead, the selection trials will be conducted online, details to be available when finalised
As the 2020 World Bridge Games (previously Team Olympiad) were cancelled, the World Bridge Federation has decided that they now be held in 2022, inverting the events in even numbered years so that the Transnational Teams will now be held in 2024
